Does Privacy Score see my browsing history?

No. Privacy Score only reads the App Privacy Report that iOS generates itself (Apple documentation): the list of apps that accessed your sensors and the domains they contacted. Your Safari history, your messages, your photos: never touched.

So how do you make money?

The app is free to download and free to use for your first complete scan, which stays accessible on your iPhone for life. To import a new report, you subscribe through Apple: €23.88 per year or €20.94 per six months. That is our only source of revenue. No advertising, no data resale, no partner pays us a commission.

Does it work on Android?

Not yet. Privacy Score relies on the native iOS report, a feature Apple opened up in 2021. An Android version would depend on Google offering an equivalent.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Everything goes. The report, the score history, your preferences: it all lives inside the iOS sandbox. Apple wipes it on uninstall. No copy anywhere else.

Is the source code open?

The iOS source code is public on GitHub and open to audit. The promises “no server, no account, fully on-device” are verifiable: search the codebase for  URLSession  and you'll find zero active calls.
